Welcome everyone, once again it is the one and only Mid here with a feature requirement blog! This time, it is the feature requirements for edits. Editing is rather addicting, I must say; who wouldn’t want their edits to be shown on the front page? Well, read through this to know just how to achieve a feature for your edits!

Feature Standard || 1

This is going to be the general rule of thumb: the edits have to be advanced and aesthetically pleasing. So edits that are not elaborate or too simple. such as layers stacked on top of each other without any blending, textures, text, etc. or low quality (pixelated or blurry) edits will NOT be featured. Edits must show work was put into them and look pleasing to the eye.

Now, before y’all start throwing hands, I want to throw in that you DO NOT have to be a crazy good editor or have edits with crazy animations. Just know that it has to look decent enough to be featured. We won’t be judging by what program you use for editing either. So it doesn’t really matter if you use photoshop or a phone app. All that matters is the outcome. Feature Standard || 2

Your Edit Set must contain 3-4 or more edits. They don’t have to be a matching set at all. By all means just make a lot of different edit types. They don’t even have to be Templated for Amino. You can make book covers, banners, whatever template you want. Just make sure you have more than 3-4 in one post (if you want to get featured). One good edit is not enough to get a feature, all must be good quality and well done.

It must have progress shots. I won’t say an exact number but the minimum amount you should have should be 2-3 progress shots per edit. So for example, if you were to have 4 edits in your set, then you should have 8-12 progress shots.

A substitute for progress shots could be a speed edit video if you’ve made one. And if you want, you can also make a gif of your progress shots.

Feature Standard || 4

Honestly I think it’s sad that I have to even mention this, but YES, IT MUST BE FAIRY TAIL RELATED! It only makes sense as this IS Fairy Tail Amino. So nothing from Eden’s Zero or Mashima’s other works will be featured as well as anything from another fandom.

HOWEVER, you may do a crossover edit set if you wish. Meaning that the edits will include Fairy Tail and the other fandom(s) that you wish to include. But they have to include Fairy Tail.

Feature Standard || 5

No plagiarism. I think this rule is pretty obvious and straightforward. Edits that you did not make will not be featured. And while I’m on the topic of plagiarism, if you are using someone else’s edit without giving them credit, your profile will be hidden (if you have it on your profile) or if you have it on a blog then the post will be disabled. Stealing edits will not be tolerated. Please be sure you get permission from the editor in order to use their edit for your need. (This applies for anything made by our community such as artwork or such).

Also, you can’t copy off of someone else’s edit or take credit for their ideas. That’s also considered plagiarism. So don’t do it. Unless you want to deal with the consequences. This is also why we’re having you all take progress shots if you were unaware of that. It’s just for proof and verification.

Feature Standard || 6

All of your edits MUST be branded with your watermark (logo). If you do not have a watermark on those edits, it will NOT be featured. Watermark is basically just your signature so other know that you are indeed the one who created the content.

If you don’t have a watermark then make one! Or ask another editor to make you one.

Feature Standard || 7

You must include some sort of written content that relates to the edits you’ve made. This may include how much time it took you to make the edits, what apps/programs you used, the edit type, etc. You can include pretty much whatever you want (that relates to your edits) for written content, but these are just some examples.
