My Little Wizard: Friendship is Magic

Introduction

Hello Fairy Tail Amino! Curator Levy here sending my entry into the My Little Pony Event!

For this I did 3 drawings for each pony race in the show. We have earth ponies, unicorns, and Pegasi. I know it’s a lot but I got super carried away with it because I had a good idea and I love my little pony. So here’s the drawings.

We have Lucy Heartfillia as an Earth pony, Levy McGarden as a Unicorn, and Ichiya as a Pegasus. Each of their cutie marks represents the magic they have and what they can do. I’ll go into more detail for each character.

Earth Pony

Earth Ponies have no magic. However they are connected to the earth and can do anything a normal person can do. I took the fact that she has a holder type magic and made her an earth pony because of that. Holder type magic lets you borrow magic from an object, it’s not your own. Also, I made her cutie mark a golden key because that’s all we see her use most of the time as a celestial mage, the celestial spirits. Those are the bags ponies have and I made one to hold her whip in. If there’s one thing the Equestrian girl movies taught me, their skin color is a lighter color of their pony counterpart. So I made Lucy’s darker, well more yellow, than her actual skin tone.

Unicorn

As it shows, unicorns have magic. What had me thinking was any time she uses Solid script magic, she’s writing in the air, similar to casting a spell. So it was easy to make her a unicorn. Her cutie mark was the hard part because any word she writes comes to life. Usually cutie marks have like 3 design things shown on a ponies flank. So I had to think how to work with that while trying to make it small enough to fit the flank. I drew 4 things. A quill as it’s a common thing to write with. The fire, water, and lightning are 3 common elements she writes to fight with. Since this is supposed to be a darker version of her skin color, that’s why she’s light orange.

Pegasus

Look it was perfect. Having a guild called blue Pegasus and being in it was perfect to make him a Pegasus. Everyone in that guild should be Pegasi. Pegasi have no magic and can only fly. He flies the Cristina 🫡 and has holder type magic. His face was so hard to draw, especially the details. His cutie mark is a perfume bottle for his magic of course.

Conclusion

Well that’s all for now. Until the next event. This one has to be my favorite event to do. Also here’s some old my little pony fan art.
