Hello everyone! Today, I’ll be addressing a issue that has been in this community for a long while.

I. What is Spam?

Spam is basically anything that unnecessarily clogs the news feed. This includes short one word or one sentences posts. Shout out posts are also considered spam; if you want to Thank someone for like spamming you, thank them on their wall or draw them a picture as an appreciation.

This includes Chainmail

But what’s chainmail?

Anything with the word “repost, Share, repub, on, etc.” is considered as chainmail. It can either be a message or a image. Chainmail is one of the many reasons why some public chats are being disabled because s keep on sending them repeatedly.

III. What to do when you see spam.

1. Don’t forward it to others.

-Forwarding it to others will just cause you to be hidden, and it’s fake, whether you choose to send it or not, nothing will happen.

2. Screenshot the that sent it

- if it was sent in a public/private chat or wall, don’t just copy their links and report it to the Mods, you don’t have proof that they did it! So to screenshot the spam they sent before reporting it to a mod.

3. Copy their links

-before going ham on the /s that sent spam, to copy their links. The Mods aren’t robots you know, they don’t have the ability to hide a with just a screenshot of their actions! If you don’t know or forgot how to copy a ’s link here are the steps:

1. Click their profile

2. Click the ••• on the top right side of you’re screen.

3. Click “copy link”

4. Report it to a

-and finally, after doing those previous things I said, report the to a online mod, not a offline mod, you’ll know if their online if their chat option has a green dot. If you’re not sure who are the s of this community, here is the list:
