Hello there! So, let's jump right into it, shall we? Birthday colony was created as a way to keep track of birthdays for people in the community and to be a space specifically for celebrations! The idea is whoever submits their birthday to this colony will have a chat full of people waiting to wish them a happy birthday when the time rolls around. We encourage giving gifts to on their birthday, but this is NOT forced.
Birthday colony and Hivemind leaders will also give out gifts. Gifts include but are not limited to: AC, art, titles, appreciation posts, a feature, edits, OCs, adopts, and so much more! Additionally, you are welcome to request gifts, and we'll see what we can do for your special day.
To keep with the bee theme of our Hivemind community, all birthdays will be categorized by their month's birth flower. If you don't know the months that go with the birth flowers, don't worry; the calendar months will still be included as well.

The steps for submitting your birthday to the colony are very simple. All you have to do is tell a host or co-host your birthday and your pronouns!
For the birthday, only the day and month are needed. We don't want the year you were born because that would reveal your age, thus exposing your personal information.
* Please note that if you randomly send your birthdate without context, it will not be added to the list. You have to specifically request to be added.
Example:
" Hi! Can you add my birthday, please? It's May 8th, and my pronouns are she/her"
