I got a theory about the hit Indie game Hello Neighbor. In popular mythos, some demons and powerful negative spirits (or Reapers...) manifest as loved ones and abuse memories, good and bad. Maybe the character is escaping the grip by finding the truth: that he's dead. Here's what I think happened:
On the way to his childhood home, you crash your car and die (or dies in his sleep after the opening door scene). As a child, the size of the home made it seem maze like. A reaper knew and simulated the home exaggerated by adding unnecessary rooms and parts. A reaper (takes form of loved ones to convince spirits to go to hell) took the form of your father and decides to let you loose. It makes you think of old false memories to try to lead you both into danger and to be forcefully brought to hell. The minigames make you the real memories and got empowered by the truth. Alpha 3's ending is the real one. You realize you're really dead as your father sobs after hearing that his son died. The shadow man is the reaper's true form (or the man who told your father of your death since he's seen through the keyhole).
Like it? I hope that it becomes a vid. If it does, mention me!!! Comment and like if you do so desire

They just assume that I ignore logic and just made "what if..." a theory. Take my KH linked to LoZ theory. People assume I tried whatever I can to connect them yet I found uncanny simularities while playing BBS 0.2
This was a good one I've seen
