This will be replacing our 1984 Massey Ferguson tractor that has been a trooper... but it's time for something newer and more versatile. More info on the tractor here.

Specifications

This is as bare bones of a work truck that you can get. It's a 1999 GMC Sonoma SL, single cab, 2wd with the 2.2L SFI 4banger and 4spd automatic transmission. It makes a gutless 120hp & 140 ft-lbs of torque BUT it gets the job done while getting fairly good gas milage.

Of course being a work truck it has manual everything (mirrors & windows). It does have A/C but it doesn't work right now, probably just needs some freon to get it going again. It does have a very nicely upgraded touchscreen head-unit with upgraded door speakers though!

It even has a large locking toolbox in the bed to carry all of our tools. Also notice the auxiliary bed lights mounted on the box for working at night!!

Like I said, it's nothing fancy or special but it gets the job done. It also has an insane 384k miles, although the previous owner did say he replaced the motor once. She still cracks up at the flick of a key and runs & drives like a top!!

We haven't gotten rid of the old Massey Ferguson yet & I'll definitely miss it but this new work truck will definitely be much more convenient for going to pick up materials & pool chemicals whenever we need them. Hopefully this truck will serve the country club well.

Until next time guys... thanks for reading and stay tuned for more updates in the future!!

Those 2200s are pretty good engines, not real powerful but its a s10 not a full size lol. They had a issue with a oil leak but other than that they are pretty good trucks aint seen much issues with them

I don't work there anymore but as far as I know the truck is still doing well. The engine had been replaced once but the truck itself had close to 385k miles when I left. It was still plugging along and being the workhorse that it is.

My brother has the same exact model, ‘cept with a Topper. (For some reason deer love his though; 4 Deer have already ran into him and he’s only had it for like, 1 year xd)

This truck doesn't get out in the road much so hopefully it won't attract any deer lol. It'll slowly gain miles & live a fairly easy life from now on.

Heck yeah man, I love these mini trucks. I wanted to get one for myself for a while but don't have the space like you said. So for now I'm satisfied with this truck I get to drive around for work.
