Personally, I just love this season, and it's my favourite time of year. It's brilliant that we get to talk about in more depth, and in a challenge nonetheless! Let's get started, shall we?

ÇĤŘĮŞMÃŚ.

As many of you know, Christmas is the most popular holiday during this time of year!

Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.

ĤØŴËVĔŖ, this does NOT mean that atheists like myself or people who aren't Christian can't celebrate!

Many people see Christmas as a day of hope, family gatherings, and a fresh start. Christmas is also known for gift exchanges and a grand feast!

Every family will have a unique Christmas tradition, but here is a list of some of the more popular ones!

My family has a special recipe for making candy canes together, and stuff ourselves- er- myself- with sugar.

Ah, at last. Food is such an important part of my lif- UM- ahehehe- Christmas. Can anyone imagine Christmas without a feast?

Even the poor are provided for during the holiday food drive.

My family has a very specific list of what will go on the table, and it's just amazingly nostalgic for me, and still is!!

Traditional Christmas dinner features turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and vegetables such as carrots, turnip, parsnips, etc. Other types of poultry, roast beef, or ham are also used.

However, just as traditions are unique, meals are as well. Each family usually prepares a center dish (usually turkey, beef, or chicken) and serves it with other side dishes which will usually include many family ' comfort food.

Christmas is usually spent with family (and sometimes friends).

No matter how big a family is, they usually will gather for Christmas and have a big reunion, which is where many "Coming Home for Christmas" songs come from.

My family stretches out to over five hundred , all the way to my distant neices and nephews and distant great uncles and aunts.

Due to the fact that most of my family is in China, that is where we usually spend the holiday.

AHAHAHAHAHA- uhm, er, hehehe.

Presents!!!

Ok. Everyone loves gifts, it it! But what do you want this year? I know what I want...

First and foremost, I want happiness. For my mom.

I've realized that the reason of her change was because she was unhappy with something- or someone, which I truely wish isn't me... But all of my hope for her to become the mom I once had is relying on this, what I'm calling "Happiness Therapy".

That's what I want firstly.

Then maybe another cat...? *smiles hopefully*

If so... I want either a Siamese. Or a Calico!!

My favourite part of Christmas is, of course, the gift exchange. It's the time to see who got you what, and the thought they put into it.

And furthermore, each gift comes with cards, to commemorate the bonds between the people, the kin, whether or not their blood related.

Many should know the history of Christmas to be the story of Jesus's birth, or else known as "Nativity."

Without spoiling it too much, here's a review:

Betrothed to much-older Joseph, Mary must remain a maiden for one year, but she subsequently receives a visit from the angel Gabriel, who tells her of her destiny. When Joseph and now-heavily pregnant Mary journey to Bethlehem for the Roman census, they face a threat from King Herod, whose obsession with an ancient prophecy endangers soon-to-be-born Jesus.

{This Christmas, snuggle up with a blanket and some popcorn and watch "The Nativity Story"! It's worth watching.}
