              the 15th has come around once again

              which means it is time for this month’s

              mid-month challenge!

About The Challenge

we decided to revolve this challenge

around classic aus, but “classic au”

can be interpreted many different

ways so we narrowed it down to a

specific au. the classic coffee shop

au to be exact.

in case you didn’t know, au means

alternate universe— which involves

placing your characters in a reality

that isn’t their own. so a coffee shop

au pertains to your characters being

in a coffee shop. typically one of the

characters is a barista and the other

a customer— but you may write it

however you want!

you may use only your own charact-

ers or your own character(s) and a

roleplay partner’s character(s) (with

their permission of course)! write a

piece about their adventures in the

coffee shop (how they met, falling in

love, maybe they had a falling out in

the shop) the decision is up to you!

the piece doesn’t necessarily have

to be romantic.

         • if using a character not your own

            include credit to the owner
