Episode 56

That’s about it. I’ve just about had it with the attitudes of the people in this world! Were it not for All Might and the heroes he inspired by his example, this whole society would be completely irredeemable in my eyes. Don’t believe me? Watch this episode and you just might.

1. I’ve seen hero serial killers, little boys being manipulated by people like All For One, monsters like Dabi and Muscular causing trouble, and the glasses guy is one of the most irritating people I’ve ever seen in this show as of now. To force your ideals on others is one thing (I mean, Stain did it.), but to actually criticize others and put them down for not living up to what YOU believe is the standard is not something I am so easily forgiving of. As Kaminski clearly stated, these third years thin they can off U.A. as nothing just because of their supposed “entitlement issues” and their favored treatment in the world, but that doesn’t mean they really know them. As the first season clearly indicated, Class 1-A isn’t like any of these other hero classes. They’ve been inspired by All Might to go against those poisoned ideologies and thoughts about “winning” and “glory”; they’re trying to be heroes in the way he was, saving others even at the cost of themselves or their dreams. After all, that’s what a hero is supposed to do.

I could write a whole essay on this guy and what a disgrace I believe he is, but I’ll just settle for d***. Cause quite frankly, I’d rather talk about more positive things.

Man, AP Shot used this way was absolutely amazing. It was also a nice touch that he made it in the idea of not hurting his comrades. Guess it goes to show he has the spirit of a hero, if not anything else hero-like.

4. Izuku, Sero and Ochako kicked ass and ed like bosses! I have a feeling Ochako is gonna become even more OP as an adult! And now I can’t stop thinking about seeing a fanart of Sero as Spider-Man! I mean, he’s probably already got the snark down!

5. The feeling of dread when there were only 10 seats left and 9 U.A. students left was excruciating. But not nearly as excruciating as seeing Aoyama attempting to sacrifice himself to allow Iida to . I think he’ll definitely be a beacon of hope in the future, the way he’s already putting others before him. Those other schools could learn a thing or two from people like Aoyama.

6. I like how the final showdown didn’t involved either of the two MCs, but rather showcased the other students fighting for their spots! The writer definitely breaks convention through this move, as even though Izuku and Bakugo are the most important characters in this story, it’s not all about them, and they don’t have to be the only ones driving the plot.
