Story snippet:

As I stand, I can feel my broken bones shift beneath my skin. Falling to my knees once again, I struggle to keep going. My mind feels hazy, my ears are ringing and my eyes are burning. The Villians ahead of me have the most sickening smiles across their faces and I can help the fear that’s creeping into my heart.

As my senses clear momentarily, I hear the cries of children. Familiar children. Looking back I see my baby siblings watching on in fear from the crowd. As tears stream down their faces, rage burns through my fear and the pain. Once again pushing myself up, I look at the Villians again, my face burning. As my powers scream to like I feel my hair become infused with them, as my light and darkness force their way out of my body, turning have of my hair to frozen smoke and the other to steaming light. With all my strength, I promise you my baby siblings…

…I WILL NOT FAIL YOU!

Felt like my templates were kinda getting stale so made an attempt at a dramatic piece. I’m not to great at backgrounds tbh.
