Mind the 2 day gap. Kinda got delayed on posting the last 2 days and didnt wanna post this late at night only for it to be ignored like Sotan and Hoshi had been.

Twin sister of Kai, Tengan Heizo is a lot like her twin. I always knew Kai had a twin and Tengan being his twin in everything (from their quirks to their hobbies and love of heroes.) and where they’re not twins, their opposites (She has heat resistance, he has cold resistance(protection from each others quirks), she’s an introvert that acts like an extrovert, he’s an extrovert that acts like an introvert, ect.)

Tengan’s Heizo, younger sister to the pro hero Archangel, twin of Kai Heizo and daughter of the pro heroes Raid-Shadow and Star-Brand, quirk manifested along side her twin brothers at the age of 5 years old, but it shocked their parents. Tengan was born with a constitution for heat resistance, so her family had assumed she’d inherit her mother’s quirk but she got her father’s. This spelled out trouble in their family’s eyes but non dreamed of saying anything. No one would try to discourage either twin, but they worried.

Tengan, due to her family’s history, from her grandfather to her older sister being heroes, there was no doubt she’d become a hero too. Tengan worked tirelessly along side her brother to master her quirk under the tutelage of their father who shared her quirk.

Having come from a hero family, UA decided to through Tegan in the recommendation test so that she and her brother wouldn’t be competing against each other. UA did this knowing that if both Siblings were to complete at the same time against one another, other prospective students would be put between them so decided to have only Tengan remain in the recommendation test.

Tengan being a natural introvert, had the conflicting need to be liked so acted like an extrovert, to the detriment of her mental health. This however quickly became a non issue at UA because hanging mostly with the same 19 students lightened the stress of talking to people and made her anxiety with new people a non-factor. Additionally, she as a girl with an American paternal side, Tengan became popular with her peers as she could help with their english class and homework.

Tengan’s Quirk is a near perfect copy of her fathers even if evolved. Her father’s Quirk “Drown Dark” had been a combination of a water manipulation quirk and a quirk called “Shade Stepping”. The combination of which made a quirk that allowed for the manipulation of shadows through body movement that had water like properties and allowed for the movement through shadows.

Drowning Darkness

“Drowning Darkness” posses all the abilities of “Drown Dark” but with improvements made thanks to her mother’s quirk of “Shining Bright”. The improvements consist of being able to control her quirk through force of will (with significantly more effort), Darknesses generation, the ability to manifest objects of darkness, and the power to expel darkness from her body. Drowning Darkness however powerful, does have its limitations as the Darknesses can reach sub zero temperatures at its weakest and Tengan’s constitution posses no cold resistance, instead possessing heat resistance for her brother’s quirk. While Tengan is held back by this, the costume agency and the class has been working on ensuring her (and her brother’s) suit(s) can minimize the drawback as much as possible.
