Exactly what is a Platinum Award?

A Platinum Award at Pop Meta recognizes the significant accomplishments of a very select few who have consistently gone above and beyond in their contributions to the community.

These have been curators, leaders, chat hosts and co-hosts.

They have weathered the storm time and time again and have contributed more to Pop Meta than any others.

In Pop Meta’s history, we have only awarded three permanent Platinum Awards.

It goes without saying that Morgan and I were the first two unofficial Platinum - in four and a half years - only one other member currently holds one of these awards.

We wanted to come up with an award that wasn’t necessarily based on a yearly mandate, rather something that honored those who have made significant contributions to the community that we felt paralleled our own.

The holders of this particular award, may at any time, invoke Leadership status on Pop Meta Amino; granted they continue to follow Amino’s & Pop Meta’s Guidelines and can meet the requirements of Leadership Status.

This year, we are pleased to announce our four newest Platinum Award .

Je Raven

Leader of the Year

Traditionally, the Raven was seen as a dark protector and bringer of wisdom… To ancient cultures the world over they have symbolized guidance, world shaping creativity, knowledge and or hidden knowledge, problem solving, the transitioning between life and death, personal and or spiritual transformation, prophecy -

More often than not they were seen as messengers who bring with them spiritual insights.

Je truly embodies all of these qualities.

No one dives deeper down the proverbial rabbit hole with such grace or dignity to find the hidden truths than Je Raven.

Je has dedicated her life to public service, education, witchcraft and all things paranormal. She works with one of the most well known paranormal investigative organizations in the world as well as Agents ‘The Witches Cottage’ Amino and manages a cross community Newsletter; all while consistently creating engaging blogs and video content for here, there and everywhere else - amongst a million and a half other things.

It is with great honor we present this years first Platinum Award, as well as Leader of the Year Award, to someone who we are not only fortunate enough to call a co-agent of Pop Meta but more importantly, fortunate enough to call our friend.

If ever there were a true inspiration to the scholarship of all that is magick, myth and the paranormal as well as journalistic integrity and investigative reporting … unequivocally it would be Je Raven.

The Psycho Sorcerer

His Soul may be black as night, yet his Heart is surely made of gold…

Rarely an individual comes along and coherently and concisely relays the messages of the dark arts in such a compelling and sophisticated manner.

He is not afraid of confronting the darkest recesses of human consciousness and beyond - and he just may take you along with him on the journey, “if” you ask nicely!

Through his tireless research and arcane practices, his work has helped countless others confront their darkness, paving the way for a path of self discovery, self acceptance and ultimately, self betterment.

The Sorcerer reminds us that things aren’t always what they appear to be on the surface - and that understanding the darkness is equally as important as understanding the light.

ZERO

If moxie were a super power, and it may just be, Z’s got it.. whatever “it” is…

Rarely in the history of Pop Meta have we seen the overall dedication of a member, as we have seen from Zero.

She is truly one of the most talented, fair, caring and thought individuals living today - she’s also the fastest and youngest member ever make Leader status here.

Z gives us a glimpses of what a million miles ahead of the curve looks like while she writes her own music, sings, plays guitar , acts, performs on stage in live theatre, goes to school and works a job.

Through all of that, she still somehow manages to honor this community by dropping by when she can, welcoming new and sounding off on important issues in our private team Curator & Leader Chat.

Bray Mysterio

If ever I’ve met someone who could be the next Elon Musk - it’s Bray…

When Bray isn’t acting as Pop Meta’s Assistant Editor, Head Curator and Assistant Manager, he is the Agent of Wrestling Amino, an engineer and overall, one of the most stand up individuals and gentleman we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

His extraordinary and meticulous attention and dedication to detail mixed with his unstoppable drive, make him one of the strongest assets any team, anywhere - could ever have.

In less than a year, he has established a curator training program, helped our yearly Octoberfest reach over a million Animo , become our personal friend and honors us as our Assistant Editor and Head Curator; all while managing one of the biggest and busiest Amino communities active today.

We are forever grateful for all that each of you have contributed to Pop Meta - you have become so much more than community , curators or leaders- you are like family to us and we are honored to know each of you and share in this wondrous and awe inspiring endeavor of exploration regarding all things unknown.
