Hello ZA! It’s Jaiden!

This week I’m featuring a super fun Art Fight post that honestly cracked me up. The artist started strong by going after an Art Fight leader and decided to draw two of their OCs, Lyric and Marus, and the sibling energy is so real. The expressions are great, the posing is super dynamic.

Also, the caption is pure chaos in the best way. “You have been blessed with a normal forehead” had me wheezing. It’s the kind of unhinged energy that makes Art Fight so fun to watch. Can’t wait to see who else ends up on their “victim list!”

OYYY!! Sage here! The post I have decided to feature today is this lovely attack by Z for this year’s Art Fight! I’ve been seeing this person around this amino, and I saw this one specific art of theirs yesterday, and I thought to myself “this is the one next week.” I am absolutely impressed with their talent! I love the lovely use of color, and how crisp and clean the lineart is. It’s absolutely phenomenal and beautiful. They absolutely deserve this feature!

Hullo lovelies!! This week, I wanted to highlight this adorable entry for the April Title Challenge by Zant and Metal!

I love how this entry took the prompt in a unique direction, creating a puppeteer whose design resembles a jester while still using the design elements of the Gorons. Not only that, but the decision to make a Goron who sews their puppets is such an inspired idea, even outside of the context of this challenge, and I adore how it subverts expectations. After all, we've been taught that the Gorons are strong and tough through their ability to break boulders with ease, yet I adore the idea of a Goron also having a penchant for a gentle and creative hobby like sewing, as it shows the depths of personal expression and explores an element of existence that the games have not. Moving on from my philosophical ramblings, I also know that this character would give amazing puppet shows and would absolutely love to see more of this character!

Please give the blog some love if you haven't yet, as it absolutely deserves it!!
