August 2021: Leo

Hey there again, August is coming and here is my set-up for the month.

The sign of this month is Leo, so I had to make a spread based on lions. My first idea was a safari theme, but I came up with something more minimalistic. I only focussed on lions and experimented with lineart to create the drawings of the lions. I used references for these linearts and I will put a link below with credits to the original artists.

Leos have a strong personality, they are ambitious and they are very good leaders. Their ego is important to them and they can be drama queens. They also like to stick their nose in otherones businesses.

August’s birthstone is the peridot, which stands for self confidence, inner peace and spirit. It looks very much like the emerald of May in colour.
