Kopter(6): Hey there! Have room for one more?

The alliance of Outliers looks up at the bold Tribute facing them. The guy from 6 seems nervous, he must not know that they have nothing to hurt him with.

Tron(5): Why, have anything to offer?

Kopter(6): How about a hiding place?

The Outliers look at each other before Vinci gets up and nods

Vinci(3): Sounds good. Show us the way.

The Alliance of four makes their way by the side of the mountain, circling around it for a good hour before Kopter stops and moves a few branches around. Even as he's working everyone can see a massive cave emerging from beneath the man-made cover

Kopter(6): Here we are! Make yourselves at home.

Tron(5): Impressive... how did you find this place?

Kopter(6): It's easy to spot if you don't cover the entrance. I've been here since day 2. Let me light a fire.

The alliance begins to roast whatever meat they have left thanks to Tron, sharing it with Kopter as a thank you.

Magpie(12): If ya wanted to , why didn't ya say so at the training center?

Kopter(6): To be honest, I was afraid I'd tie a target on my back. But I figured I have one either way, so it's better to have other people by my side.

Tron(5): Wise choice. I promise we'll help you out as much as we can.

Diana(2): Julius.

Julius turns to look at Diana, surprised that she got out of her previous thoughtful state.

Julius(2): What is it?

Diana(2): I don't think Lazuli is really ill.

Julius arches an eyebrow, not understanding what she means. He looks at Lazuli as she sleeps.

Julius(2): You said she was throwing up yourself, Diana.

Diana(2): And she was. But she's not ill, I think she got sick because I killed that girl. She was all pale and shaky, like when she killed Bass. She doesn't like killing.

Julius(2): This is a big problem for us...

Diana(2): What? No! I swear you're so dumb sometimes! If we tell Lapis he will kill her, and then we'll be 2 against one!

Julius(2): There's no way he will side with us over her.

Diana(2): Haven't you seen how he treats her? It'll be easy to make him snap. Leave it to me. Just tell me you'll side with me.

Julius(2): As always.

The Tributes from District 2 wait silently for Lapis to come back, just in case he's close by. He comes back after a long time, so much so that they're about to fall asleep.

Lapis(1): I'm back! Not a loser in sight tonight... Hey, what's with the long faces?

Julius(2): I don't know, Diana's been upset but won't say why. She said she needs to tell you first.

Diana prepares for the performance of a lifetime. Her victory may depend entirely on this.

Diana(2): Well, it's just a feeling, I didn't want to discuss it without you, but I think your sister may not be strong enough to kill. I think she may have gotten sick because I killed that girl this morning.

Lapis(1): That's ridiculous. She killed Bass, for fuck's sake!

Diana(2): And she was pale and shaky afterwards. I know it may be hard to believe, Lapis, but I'm worried. What if this drags us down?

Lapis(1): I won't let it. I will start going on hunts with her from now on, If what you said is true, she's done.

Diana nods. One less thing to worry about.

Gamemaker: Sir Snow, we have positively identified the parts shipped to the Arena as pieces of a Peacekeeper gun reported stolen in District 3.

Snow: And as for where they come from?

Gamemaker: We are on the supplier's tail, but it is protected by a complex undergroumd network.

Snow: A fancy way to say that you don't know their identity.

Gamemaker: I'm afraid not. We are tailing his mentor as we speak, but no encounter has happened as of yet. What should we do?

Snow: Keep an eye on District 3 in the Games. If he builds the gun, dispose of him. If he's unable, there's no reason to make a fuss. Let's not alert the population.

The Gamemaker nods and then retreats silently, leaving Head Gamemaker Coriolanus Snow with his thoughts. They think they can slip something like this past him? Let them try. The end result won't be pretty.
