I've written multiple things like this (ex; Click here! ) but people need to be reminded about this rule inparticular, in general all the rules. Anyways, read on to know more about proper crediting!

☆ [Guidelines] ☆

^ This is taken straight from the rules, the guidelines we must follow to not be given some kind of punishment of sorts. People put effort into their art and if you're an artist, you do as well. That being a writer, (drawing) artist, or even a dancing one it's all important to credit in some way.

Imagine when you post art without proper crediting, art that isn't yours and a CAT-R member tells you to simply credit it. Don't lash out on them, don't tell them you don't need to credit, or legit anything else similar to that.

You need to credit the artists of any art you post,

unless it's actually your art. Posting your own art is fine without that crediting because well,, it's yours. Adding proof to your art post is a whole different level than this that I may talk about in the future.

These are the top three websites I have stumbled that will help you find an artist of what you'd post. As sometimes some websites like tineye may not come up with anything while others like Image Raider will. Each of these three work differently yet the same due to the different domains.

☆ Improper Crediting ☆

Improper crediting is a big deal to me and everyone else who pays attention to what artists go through.

Saying anything similar to that will not work here or in most aminos with similar crediting rules to us. This is not proper crediting to the artist, ya know?

A link to wherever the who drew it is amazing as well! That being if it's a piece of art you've found over on Tumblr of even just here on amino. Saying just who the artist is is perfect as well.

Just crediting the artist is amazing no matter the cause. Most not if all artists will want you to ask permission before you actually use it and guess what, that's perfectly fine! It's their own work and you better not disobey that, eventually they'll find out and ask you to take it down if others haven't already.

I'll be refering to Instagram on this part. Way to many people never give credit or even some kind of proper credit to any kind of artist! Of course I love just going through Instagram and doing all that stuff but it makes me boil.

Artists hate this! Even if you're just a beginner you'll probaly want your art to be credited as well.

Even famous artists always get credited due to their art being so vastly popular. Even if so people still know who painted that, who wrote that, who MADE that need credit nonetheless.

Just follow our rules and respect every artist out there.

Thats all I ask honestly. Please don't get mad when you break a rule and a gives you a punishment for it. If you know it's your own fault, own up to that and take whatever punishment or warning a team member or/and a gave you. Don't blame your friends and don't you dare try to blame the s.
