  making up the haikyuu team from     ╲╲

   different ghibli characters that fit         `🏐

  them well... but it ended up turning        Fwₒₒₛₕ

more and more haikyuu-ish so I’m not

really sure what kind of crossover this

okey well first of all for those of you who haven’t watched haikyuu, Hinata gets hit in the face by the ball.. a loOot, and every single time it reminds me of that scene where Ponyo and sosuke bump heads XD. The main similarity for me tho, is just the fact that these too are so darn excitable and smiley with that beautiful red hair > v <

WelL... also known as Hime Mononoke, that makes San a sort of princess, which reminds me of how Kageyama is referred to as the king of the court, so they’re both... royalty? OvO On top of this, they both have a good heart and a strong will power.. which can sometimes come off as aggressive XDD oh and they both seem to struggle showing affection too- lil tsunderes Ú v Ù

Maybe slightly more subtle than the previous two, but I still think these two have lots of similarities >< . To me, both Sophie and Suga have a dominantly calm and kind personality... like waves of water UvU Altho like how waves can be choppy, Sophie has her outbursts of aggressive anger and Suga can be mischievous too so yeah- ù v ú And of course both of them have that pretty starlight hair U w U

The main thing I love about Tsukishima is how sarcastic he is with that skill of pissing everyone off XDD and tbh maybe that’s more of a Jiji or Calcifer quality.. but idk _(˘⌣˘)ʃ Both characters are tall, quiet (altho noface does go just a liTtlEee crazY OvO) and mostly have the same facial expression throughout XD

Like no face who struggles with himself, Tsukishima also has a low self esteem, but as the film/ series goes on each character improves ù v ú

PffFf and some of these facial expressions haha... but they were really fun to draw so oh well XD

I was aiming for a sense of all of the characters reaching for the ball in different ways (like in different scenes of the game) except all in the same frame, overlapping as they dive for that 1 ball > v <

altho no way would Tanaka still be focused on the ball while leaning on poor Sophie O v O haha XD
