Is an American direct-to-video horror science-fiction movie directed by Scott and Davis Hillenbrand.

Plot:
A genetically engineered snake that attacks a small town.

For a killer snake movie goes, it's pretty dull. The story is your standard monster movie with a giant snake attacking people and a couple of people trying to figure out how to stop it. It's pretty predictable and goes through the same tropes you see in other movies. One issue of the movie is that the pacing is off with scenes that happened pretty quickly without suspense and tension during it. Even the human scenes are rather boring and nothing interesting happening during those scenes. The explanation of the hybrid snake isn't that fully flesh-out and doesn't leave the impact of the movie. Also, some side plots feel unnecessary, like the hunters who are trying to hunt down the snake but end up failing. The movie does contains some cheesy moments in it, like the reptile wrangler goes against the giant snake. But the movie ends in a disappointing way.

I found the characters to be really boring and uninteresting throughout the movie. Most of them are one-dimensional with a lack of tension towards them, and none of them shows any reason why to root for them. The acting itself isn't anything too great and feels mostly bland throughout.

The best part of the movie is the snake himself. The filmmakers decide to use an animatronic snake in the movie, which is pretty impressive. It has pretty good details onto it, and it looks pretty good as a giant snake that looks threatening. I feel like most of the budget is spent on the animatronic, which shows how much work they put onto that thing for the movie.

King Cobra might have an impressive animatronic, but the movie isn't that good and is pretty dull throughout.
