How are you all doing today! Hopefully alright, and if not, I hope the pain eases soon. As one of the editors, it's part of my duty to provide examples of the weekly challenges, as a sort of inspiration to generate ideas or guide you if you need help. So here's my swing at the #Underwaterchall

This may sound unusual, but I have no curiosity to go to the deepest depths. I'd rather stay in more shallow water, where I feel safer and I can spot some really cool fish and other sea miracles. I would love to go to a Coral Reef. They're absolutely gorgeous in my eyes. They're colorful, fragile, and a home to millions of creatures on their own. I love how much is going on in one little spot, with so many besides blue in the ocean all at once.

↠Coral reefs are common breeding grounds for fish because it is easier to protect their eggs in a Coral Reef.

↠ Scientists have used parts of Coral Reefs to help fight Cancer.

↠Coral Reefs act as a filter, usually making water clearer.

↠Coral Reefs usually form where ocean currents are strongest, because it brings more food to them.

↠Coral Reefs commonly act as a barrier between shallow waters and deeper water, protecting several shallow water species.

I'd definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for some animals! If I ever got the chance to see an Otter, Sea Turtle, Dolphin, or Whale in the ocean, I would be pumped. Otters are my favorite animal, and sea turtles are actually another one of my favorites (and yes, I realise that makes me sound like a basic VSCO girl). I'd try to look for something I'd never seen before. I honestly don't know much about the ocean, so what I would really be looking for is a love and fascination with it to sprout after this adventure.

Honestly, if given the chance, I would just take the opportunity to experience the beauty of the ocean on a whole new level. I'd capture as many pictures as possible, and journal about the whole adventure. I love writing, and would want to preserve the experience in time so I can always return. If take this chance to learn, and I'd probably spend half my time Googling why type of animal I'm looking at it.
