Four steps to becoming an angel in 2025

1. Break your halo. Snap it with your bare hands. Let the shards get in between your fingers, sharp and piercing. Use it as a knife to defend yourself, as nobody else will save you. And definitely not from yourself. Let the blood fall onto a sigil that you vowed to protect you from those who hand you their heart. Is it still love if it isn't still beating? Is it dedicated love as they ripped it out of their chest for you? Or is dead love meaning that there is no more love for you? It is probably the last one, as there is no love in 2025. So throw away those expectations.

2. Rip out your feathers due to the stress love causes you. You look like a first-time farmer's dead chicken. Use the feathers to create a collage of the bad memories because fuck the good memories, you want to keep obessesing over the bad ones. It is addictive to do so. It feels good to drag yourself down till you are nothing but a shell. Self manipulation, gaslighting, emotional abuse, mental abuse, that's what people do to themselves.

3. Create a religion of yourself. You have to fit in somewhere. Being out of place in today's society is a burden. People don't want you to stand out, and when you do, they will dig the hole for you to go back into. Trauma, scars, wounds, burns, that is your first step. You are the story written. Your story wasn't written by you, it was written for you by some god knows what being with a power trip and loving to cause misery.

4. Have you seen the Pinterest pictures on how suicidal people are just angels that want to go home? Don't become that. You are better than that. Your wings are not supposed to fly. They are supposed to be significant. Significant in what I don't know that. You will have to figure it out yourself. Angels that have wounds or burns, or trauma, are stronger than any higher being. So, guess what, my beautiful angel, you are still here. Being the angel you are.
